The 2.8 Credit Units (32 clock hour) program provides an excellent foundation for course-work in Cardiovascular Technology. Graduates of the program are employable at hospitals and health care facilities throughout the country. As an EKG technician, you will work in hospitals, neighborhood health centers, private practices, clinics, nursing homes and emergency rooms as part of a medical team. This program is designed to instruct students in the structures and function of the cardiovascular system and the circulation of blood through the heart and lungs.
