Step 1

Request Information

Submit a Request Information form to let our admissions team know you’re interested.
Once received, we’ll reach out to answer questions and help schedule your enrollment appointment.

Step 2

Speak With Admissions & Schedule Your Appointment

After your inquiry, an admissions representative will contact you by phone or email to discuss:
• Program options
• Eligibility requirements
• Start dates and schedules
• What to expect during enrollment
If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll schedule an in-person enrollment appointment at your campus.

Step 3

In-Person Enrollment Appointment

All enrollments at Mission Career College are completed in person.
During your enrollment appointment, you will:
• Meet with an Admissions Advisor
• Review program details and expectations
• Tour the campus
• Complete any required entrance assessment
• Complete and sign all enrollment paperwork
Everything is handled in one guided appointment with staff support.

Step 4

Enrollment Confirmation

Once your enrollment appointment is complete and documents are finalized, your spot in the program is confirmed.
You’ll receive confirmation details regarding:
• Your start date
• Class schedule
• What to bring on your first day

Step 5

First Day Orientation

Orientation is conducted by your instructor on the first day of class.
This includes:
• Program expectations
• Classroom policies
• Schedule overview
• Introduction to instruction and coursework
From there, you officially begin your training at Mission Career College.

ADMISSION CRITERIA
Prospective students may gain admission to MCC by meeting one of the following requirements:

  • Demonstrating performance on a standardized Wonderlic examination.
  • Providing proof of high school graduation or its equivalent, such as:
    • High school diploma
    • General Education Development Certificate (GED)
    • State proficiency certificate
    • College transcript or college diploma

ASSESSMENT – Wonderlic Scholastic Examination
The following are the minimum Wonderlic scores required for admission into approved programs:

  • Chemical Dependency Counselor (ADC): 16
  • Clinical Medical Assistant: 12
  • CPR/First Aid: 12
  • ECG/EKG Technician: 12
  • Home Health Aide: 12
  • Physical Therapy Aide & Rehabilitation: 12
  • Nurse Assistant: 12
  • Phlebotomy Technician: 15
  • Solar Photovoltaic Installation: 12
  • Water Technology Management - Entry Level: 12
  • Water Technology Management - Advanced Level: 12

Assessment Fee: FREE / NO CHARGE

Additional Requirements

  • Applicants aged 18 years or older without a high school diploma or its equivalent must pass the following Accuplacer Tests:
    • Test 1: Reading Comprehension
    • Test 2: Sentence Skills
    • Test 3: Arithmetic
  • The minimum age for Nurse Assistant students is 16 years old.

Campus Tours
Prospective students are encouraged to tour the campus accompanied by an Admissions representative.
